Become A Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunities

Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County offers a variety of ways to put your talent to work to transform lives in your community. Our volunteers provide assistance with tutoring, serve as mentors, give presentations on important topics, help chaperone field trips and more! Event planning for our annual fundraisers or serving on our Board of Directors are other great opportunities for volunteers who want to be more involved with our the Club.

For more information on becoming a volunteer, email btopash@bgcfremont.org.

Tutoring

When school is in session, the Club offers a regular time for members to work on schoolwork or other projects focused on academics. Volunteers can provide valuable help working with members to help improve grades and understanding on homework assignments. Reading to Kindergarteners can also be  a fun way to give back to your community!

Mentoring

Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County offers a mentoring program where we match a positive adult role model with a member. Mentors meet with their mentee weekly or every other week for an hour to develop a strong mentoring relationship. Our program is based on proven best practices and have shown tremendous results. Group mentoring opportunities are also available.

And More . . .

Getting involved with Boys & Girls Club is easy. You can share your interests and talents with youth in many different ways. Playing sports, making music, helping prepare meals, or assisting at events are some of the other ways to support your local Boys & Girls Club.

If you've got the acting bug, consider volunteering to be in our Halloween haunted house, typically the last Friday in October.

Give us a call at 719-345-4038 and we can help you find where you fit best.
